egg crate
does anybody know if the mirrored egg crate works good. my kids just broke my glass tops so i need something and all they have is the mirrored egg crate

Stinking kidz
 I guess it's pay back for us braking our parents stuff. I read posts where people say the mirrored stuff does not hold up that well. Overtime the mirroring peels off. Maybe somebody else around here actually has it and can give a better representation of it.

James why not get some of that 1/4x1/4" mesh for protecting fruit trees?

well i just called a glass shop and they will cut a piece of glass for 9 bucks and the egg crate is 12 or 13

The mirrored eggcrate sucks, it corrodes within a few weeks, and the piece I had was alot thicker than the white stuff, so i blocked alot of light.

I had it and if you have it too close to the water the mirror coloring will melt off most likely into the water. I didn't notice a bad effect, but I didn't want to keep risking it either.
