Standpipes?
I've done alot of reading, and was set to go with a durso standpipe for my two overflows, but I hear they are noisy as He-- on 1.5" overflows. Is there another method I should try?

Re: Standpipes?
Yep my dursos are quiet too. Just got to get the holes right in the top. Start with a 1/8" hole and go up from there.

Re: Standpipes?
The standpipes have nothing to do with your flow... Only your bulkheads. Follow the directions on that site and youll be golden. The ONLY noise my system makes are the anti reverse siphon holes drilled in my return... and thats going to be fixed soon as well.

Re: Standpipes?
I have no noise coming from my durso too.Push to much water than the bulkheads can handle will cause a lot of ''gulping'' and ''gurgling''.That will happen,no matter what style you run.
