White particals
I've noticed that when I do a water change and my salt gets mixed in, it will have these white particals in it. Bad or good? No it's not salt that's not dissolved. Using Instant Ocean.

do you run carbon? how long do you let the new water sit after its mixed before you use it?

Every time I used Instant Ocean,I had the same problem.Dont know what it is about it,but it was like it wouldnt all dissolve.
Not had it happen since I went to Oceanic salt.

I had that same issue with this really cheap ass salt I had once I can't even remember what brand it was. I have used ocean pure forever and am really happy with it. Never that issue

Do you let the powerhead run in the water all night? I never had that problem when I used Instant Ocean.

i use salt crystals made my instant ocean, i dont let my water set over night, i just dose it with an anti-chlorine type junk and pour it in, dont have that problem at all.
