Preferred method of covering back of tank?

What is your preferred method and why?
Paper?
Paint?
Just let it get covered in algae?
Something else?

I was thinking of taking the time to paint mine. Black. Would you just use regular acrylic?

Mine is blue cling on stuff(like window tint) Wish it were black now. I do like the blending of blue and black a lot, although I havent ever seen it in person.

Re: Preferred method of covering back of tank?

I just leave mine alone. I figure it will be covered in coraline in a couple years. However, if I was going to paint it, it would be black spray paint.

Re: Preferred method of covering back of tank?

My tank is where you can see it from both sides so mine has coraline growing but I'm considering scraping it off.
