ID help-but no picture:S
okay, so i have discovered about 30 little "things" on my rock. I will try to describe them well because I can't get a picture of them, and "things" is rather vague
You know on the devils hand coral, the little tree like structures that come out? about 1/8 to 1/4 inch long? Them. Looks just like it. But they are on 3 seperate rocks. What are they? Are they reef safe? do they spread quickly? Re: ID help-but no picture:S
What color are they? Are they soft or hard?

Re: ID help-but no picture:S
not sure. They look soft. They are on the rock my devils hand is on mainly. They don't really look like feather dusters to me. I thought te same thing.

Google "aiptasia" and "majano" and see if it looks like either of those.

Re: ID help-but no picture:S
Colonial hydroids perhaps since you say they look like devils hand polyps.
