Question: Relocating a Feather Duster?

Hello, I want to relocate my feather duster which is attached to an ugly rock. Can I somehow detach him from this rock and relocate/attach him to another rock?

I just re-arranged all my rocks and I got rid of some coral skeletons and ugly rocks and I don't want to harm this feather duster...any recommendations.

Thanks for your input!

If he is stuck to the rock, removing him could kill him. I recommend you move the rock. They are very fragile.

Can you maybe chisel the rock so you are left with a smaller piece? Then it would be less ugly.

Re: Question: Relocating a Feather Duster?

I moved mine twice now and he pops back out only minutes after the move but now he's getting too much flow --so much so that it broke one of his feathers and he stays in a lot more then in his previous place. Mine was in the sand and not attached to anything. They don't like too much flow and they really don't like being moved around too much.

If the rock is that ugly I would break off part of the rock with it attached.
