how long should a person keep there test kits once they are opened?

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 55 gal. Reef. 2 clowns, 1 powder blue tang, 1 dragonet, blue damsels., anemones Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: about 3 years fish only, but just started the reef with fish April 2008 |

they should be fine as long as it isnt older then the date posted on the box

Most test kits are good for about 3 years from when they are made. The better kits, like Salifert, have an expiration date on them.
