cycle done!

Ok, so I went to the lfs today and got them to test my water.

cal 400
alk 3 meq/l
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
nitrate 3
phosphate 0

What I'm wondering is, do I still do a big water change even though my trates are at 3? I forget what I did last time......

Re: cycle done!

prolly slowly start transfering my new tank. Just my fish for now, I only have two. maybe some rock here and there. No coral until my light comes in.....do you think indirect daylight only will be enough for my coraline?

Re: cycle done!

It should be fine. I have heard when you cycle you should leave the lights of so the rest of the algae dies and the coraline will make it.

Your coralline will be fine. The less direct light may even get more color going.
