Re: Algae?

I've got a couple of small, dime sized patches of that in my tank.Dont know what its called. But the regular algae cures seem to keep it from spreading.

Its not hardly as bad as hair algae or cyano. But its still a pay to get rid of.ANd enough of it can make your rocks look not so great.

So is there a way to get rid of it? And what caused it? I change my water every 2 weeks. And everything else checks out fine. I'm glad its not cyano.

Re: Algae?

Sometimes,a different type of algae will just pop up no matter well we maintain our tanks. Its just the nature of the hobby.
You might try sitting a couple of your snails on the patch. If that dont work, try leaving the lights for 3 or 4 days.
