Question Test kits

When should you toss out old test kits? I have looked and no expire date on them. I have API test kits ( I know cheep).

Discard at no more than one year on the shelf.

If you ever wonder when your kit may not be working, have your lfs test your water to see if your kit is accurate.

api is actually a pretty good kit for your basic 4, I think that the rest of your test kits should include salifert.

I would like to swich to salifert. It will be a little at a time. Most of my tests are api except ph, nitrate and nitrite. Which these 3 are the oldest of the tests.
