Its just me, but I don't like things growing on the glass. I don't know why. But I agree with bifferwine, I like the purple too.

Hahaha yote, we should trade tanks. I have so much coralline on my glass and equipment I can't see through it. Growing it on the rocks, on the other hand, that's a challenge for some reason!

keep your alk and ph up and coralline will grow like crazy...

Most peoples alkalinity is to low when coarlline doesn't do well.

Yep,,finally learned that. Also figured out why I couldnt keep my calcium above 380, I had a halimeda plant that I got off some rock. I decided I didnt like the way it looked and tossed it. Now my calcium has been at440 since monday. and my DKH is running right around 10 or 11.

Re: ok been awhile since ive seen some so were is everyones updated tanks shots

I think my problem is that my two Sally Lightfoot Crabs eat it off of all my rocks. And today was the first time I've noticed this, but they've started lunging at my firefish!!!! Those critters are really hard (okay, impossible) to catch, so they'd better start behaving themselves! I'm hoping that all the coralline they're eating will fill them up so they leave my fish alone.
