How to: Iodine dip

I need to do an iodine dip for one of my colonies of zoas, the spaghetti worms have gotten so numerous on that particular rock that they seem to stay closed all of the time. I have on hand Kent Marine Concentrated Iodine (Kent Marine Super Iodine 8 oz. - Marine Depot - Marine and Reef Aquarium Super Store) but am unsure of the dosage and how long to keep the colony submerged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The dosage I have used in the past is 1Gal of tank water and add 50Gals worth of Iodine and then dip for 15-20 mins.

Re: How to: Iodine dip

Okay, dipped for 20 minutes in 50 gallons worth of iodine diluted into 1 gallon water... The spaghetti worms are still all over them. Is there any other way to get rid of these guys or should I do another dip tomorrow? Stronger concentration? Longer time?

Re: How to: Iodine dip

A rock with a colony of zoas on it. Green and red ones. Don't know what they are called. There are a bunch of spaghetti worms that live between the polyps and lately they've been staying closed a lot because the worms seem to be irritating them.
