Marine Snow (the fake stuff in the bottle!)
Hola compadres.
My (almost) father-in-law started using Marine Snow (by Two Little Fishes) in his mini reef (20g), and has seen some pretty great coral growth over the last few months- mostly in his softies, but also in his plate coral and a couple of other random things that I forgot. Out of curiosity, I picked up a bottle and started using it a couple of days ago. The opinions on the web on the product range from "works great" to "probably feeds something in the tank, but might not make any difference and isn't necessary." So, my experiment with Marine Snow is underway. I'm not going into it with any big expectations; I'm curious more than anything since my FIL's reef is doing so well. Have any of you had any experience with the stuff? If so, was it good, bad, or indifferent? Current Aquarium(s) Description: 25 Gallon Reef, 40 Gallon leopard-puffer-with-other-stuff, 10 gallon...weird, 75 Gallon Freshwater Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: Three years or so Other Intrests: Jeeps, guitars, critters, and beer Last edited by tizapolgar; March 13th, 2007 at 07:37 PM.

I'm using it now. Just got it a week ago though, hasn't been long enough to judge.

Use in the the past...I think it was no better/worst than other invert/coral food.
