Copepods???

is this a copepod? im 3 days into the cycle and I have them all over a couple pieces of my live rock.

Not the best of pic but i had a hard time getting one of them.

Doesn't look like it from the pic. It looks more like a bristle worm but it's hard to tell with it being so blurry. Wetwebmedia, Aquarium, Pond, Marine and Freshwater Fish, reef tanks, and Aquatics Information has a good data base on hitch hikers.

Yep,thats a pod of some kind.Both my tanks are full of those.
Newb,have you noticed that the ones in your pic will turn flips?Their tails curl back under them.

yeah they'll kinda fit themselves in a tight spot in the live rock and kinda roll themselves on the rock. i had figured they were pods, they looked like they were scavanging for things.

it's definatly a pod. it's an amphipod to be exact. i have tons of them!

Yep thats exactly what it is, thanks Fishbait, I have even more now woth the new LR i introduces to my tank and the Cheato that is suppose to arrive for my fuge soon is suppose to be loaded with em.
