sorry to hear that about your zoas...they are hardy..ive seen them bloom in the most adverse conditions...so i can asure yours gonna be fine..i dont trust stars..the only one i have is a serpent star..shes really reef safe..good luck bobby keep us updated..

What I have always heard is that starfish that have any webbing are going to do damage to your tank. I have 5 or six sand stars in my tank and two linkias - an orange one that I have had for 6 months and my blue linkia has survived the odds by living for 2 years. Too bad ur choc chip is mean - I like to return mean livestock and get myself something nice - like a new hammer or Zoos. Good Luck
