Re: mantis photos

I have a mantis in one of my 20 gallon species tanks. He is a green peacock. His name is "Mr. Nice Guy" and is about 6 inches long. He is a great little guy everyone loves him, and he loves the attention. He has broken my glass in the top corner when a fly or something had landed on there and he wanted it. No biggy just patched the glass (its a bulit in so you don't even see it) I had a mantis "Manny" before him for about 3 years, he was an orange peacock, you could actually hand feed him. I never dared to but my husband did all the time. I

I drop snails, crabs into his tank. His favorite are red claw fiddler crabs. He will swim up and smack the crab when its still floating to the bottom.

Re: mantis photos

Awesome mantis.
I have a few real small mantis's in my 30.I got them out of the shipping boxes for LR at the LFS I help out at.
I have noticed that my lionfish will eat em if they decide to get off the sand though.
