need some suggestions for powerheads for a 125 reef. Remember I have 3 kids so nothing real expensive, but no POS's either.
Number of heads: type of head: GPH:

Re: powerhead suggestions
I think two mj's modded with the big impellar would work great. You can diy the kit or buy it for 25.00 and the pump is like 17.00 on bigals. so your looking at about 42.00 each. Oh and each with the big prop gives 2000 GPH I have one in my 55 and it is awsome.

Re: powerhead suggestions
I Own Both The Maxi-jet 900 And 1200 (never Had A Problem) & Aqua Clear Power-heads (their Ok For The Price), I Owned The Topfin Power-heads & Jbj Power-heads (thier Turds). For My Money I Would Rather Invest In The Maxi-jets Than Anything Else. Judging By The Cost Of Your Live Rock I Imagine Their Pretty Expensive Out There Though.

Re: powerhead suggestions
In your 125,I would go with 2 Koralia #4s.One on each end, then maybe a #2 in the middle.
