Bacteria Sand Bed ?
What Are The Easiest Ways To Crash Or Destroy Your Bacteria Bed? I Thing I Might Have Done Something To Mess It Up!
I Only Been Using Every Other Day A Dose Of Purple Up Which I Stoped Using For A Clomplete Week Now And 3 Doses Of Ammo Lock To Remove Some Of The Ammonia. Are There Any Ways To Know If Your Sand Bed Is Doing Good Visually? Becareful with dosing your tank with additives to much is not good.Maybe once a week with that stuff.Regular water changes,a good light source,and time your rock will get coraline on it.Also if your get a piece cover from a local reefer or your lfs the stuff will spread to the rest of your tank.Here is a good article on sandbeds.There is plenty more info under the same section too that may be helpful to you.
