Ok. I See It Is Too Difficult To Seperate The Responses From The Thread So Everyone Use This Forum As You Would The Rest Of The Forums. I Will Still Monitor The Responses For Content And Continue To Add Articles On An Ongoing Basis.

I have been thinking about posting a thread on marine fish and one on corals. The current format would require that a thread be used for each fish, or, each family with add posts in thread for each fish. How about some feed back on if you think this will work. If a thread was created for each Fish the posts could relate to each fish by the members, and if the thread was per family then it could get a little cumbersom as each fish was added and posts were also added. So I think a thread for each fish and or coral. what does every one else think? VOTE IN THE POLE AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK WILL WORK THE BEST. PER CHRIS ROOM IS NOT A PROBLEM.

Poll Closed

Well the poll on which format to use is closed. the participation was not very satisfactory so i guess there must have been a problem locating or voting. anyway a format has been selected by chris, and darthocellaris will write the data base. as soon as all is in place I will start to enter data. thankyou for your patients.

Update

Wish I had good news to report, and I do. the fish and coral data base is still on the burner, its just not on the front burner yet. with relocations of the sites host, travel of the site adminsitrator, ect, the data base is not yet complete. So I appreciate you bearing up with the current format, in the future i am hopeful we will be able alphabetize the articles, or categorize them and alphabatize them under each category. anyways I will continue to use the current format until we can upgrade to a better data base retrieval system. in the meantime I know I have directed some of you to the articles but did not tell you which article or what page in the forum. I initially thought this would be good to encourage those asking to browse the article forum and become familiar with it. just getting an answer and not knowing the why of it, is not a formula for long term success, however, I have seen the error of my ways and I apologize if a few of you have felt flustration over this procedure. From now on, I will tell you which article and on what page of the article forum you will find the information, i will also attempt to respond to your inquiry. hope this will help in the interim of getting our new data base in place. welcome to all that have recently joined and if you have not why not take amoment and join. You will find a friendly atmosphere here and you will always be allowed to have your own opinion without adversity. we all can continue to learn each time we visit the site. so if you havent already, join and come on in. also see ya at live chat. mon, wens, fri, at 6pm pacific time and 9pm eastern time presently. I will try and be on time as often as I can but if im late start without me. happy fishin.
