Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

My lovely trigger looks like a freakin white fish, the ich has spread over its whole body, and it's not as excited about food tonight as usual. Poor polka dotted Tangent... I'm mixing up a batch of krill with mucho garlic and Selcon right now, I'll see if he perks up.

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

I will add that I am optimistic, as I have never lost a fish to ich before, ever. And I don't plan on starting now. I take the tough love approach, I can't really quarantine a fish that size, let alone catch it in the first place in a tank this size...

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

I looked over all my other fish, and none of them seem to have it -- I am especially worried about the three tangs and the angel, as those are the most vulnerable. My yellow eyed kole tang has some sort of abrasion on its side, but this fish always seems to have something like that going on with it, ever since I got it. I don't know if it's just clumsy or what, but maybe it accidentally swims into the rocks a lot. Anyways, whatever it is, it doesn't look like ich.

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

Also, Freak, you said you're going to get a pink tail too... Man, with the 20 fish I had in there already, I was feeding 2 cubes of frozen food once a day. Now, since I added that trigger, I'm up to 6 to 8 cubes per day, depending on how voracious his appetite is. I had no idea he was going to eat this much!!

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

He's not that big -- maybe 6 to 7 inches long, including the tail. I have pictures, just haven't posted them yet. I know. LAZY!!

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

I hate starting out with fish that size,I don't know why?!?!?
Sheesh,I don't think I want to see a trigger with Ich all over its body.
