What size eggcrate you using on top Biffer?

Standard size eggcrate. I really thought this one would be fine, since he made himself a burrow under a rock and seemed to be settling in quite well. I don't know what would be startling him, I watched everyone for several hours when I first put him in the tank (since he jumped out once and luckily I caught him right away), and no one else was bothering him.
The LFS gave me the second goby for half price since the first one died. I wonder if a new one will be half price of the half price???  . No way am I getting another one. Waste of money fish. I'll find something else to mix up my sand.

I never had any luck with any sand sifting fish including the Diamond.Mine never jump-either starve to death or something else.

dont you have to get a valve or a top on you sump to keep the wtaer for overflowing

I'm jealous about that. but I did put a ball valve on the overflow pipe so if I'm home it will be ok thankfully I have tile floors
