Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

I still have 200 lbs of live rock sitting in a trash can though, that's what's really holding me up! I'm getting sick of waiting for it to be cured, I want to start aquascaping and building the inside of my tank!

Waiting on rock to cure sucks dont it?
At least when I cured mine,I could cure it in the tank.Still smelled like though.

BTW
Heres another little redneck reefer tip for ya Biff.
Its easier to cure rock in the bath tub. That way when you change the water on the rock, all you got to do is pull the stopper.

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

Thanks for the tip Yote, but I actually enjoy using my bath tub for...bathing! And I don't feel like sharing the second bath tub with you-know-who.

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

You-know-who is going to end up on the back porch with less than a bucket if he keeps acting the way he's been lately...

Re: Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

Dory is still in my tank. I am off to buy some live rock from a local reefer tomorrow morning and I'll stop by Bass Pro Shop on the way home to get a couple flys.

Pics of the action? You bet!! I may even get out my little ice fishin' rod, just for giggles.

I made a math error and finally realized that I now have 61lbs of rock in my 30g DT. I'm going to get about 10 or 20 pounds tomorrow and then I'm calling it done for now.
