I That was when I started and thought 13 a week was a whole lot.

in a larger Fish only tank you can get away with ALOT less on Water changes. IMHO You could pass with 10 % monthy

Re: Dr Marco's Reef Build

my 10 gallons take about 5-6 minutes to do. I am not bothered by it at all. It is the monthly cleaning of equipment, washing of the filter socks, changing phosguard and stuff that takes 2 hours

Re: Dr Marco's Reef Build

So, my anthias keep jumping to their death. I have lost 3 of the 4 in my tank. So, I guess I am not meant to keep these fish. I don't get it. I can't seem to figure out why they leap. I thought anthias were not jumpers. any ideas?

Re: Dr Marco's Reef Build

I have read in several places that they are skittish fish, but that if they are in a school (shoal, whatever - someone correct me), that they were SUPPOSED to calm the hell down and gain more confidence. guess NOT. So now I have my eye on an overpriced foxface - maybe that is the way to go. I want some color and yellow is the color I do not have enough of in my tank (well, I did with my Bartlett's til they decided to make a suicide pact). Anyway. grumble

Oh well. I haven't seen my threadfin in about 2 weeks. Or Mandy my mandarin. I'm too content in other areas of my life right now to give a crap though.
