thats why i get Free food! and am still running 2 Skimmers. LOL!
The majority of my tangs enjoy Meaty foods as well as the Algae
the Naso is Algae only due to the shape of his mouth i am guessing

Well,I not really getting rid of the Powder Brown and Sailfin.....I'd want to but don't want to,kinda get the idea.I just get tired of watching them spray feces all the time especially when they get excited during feeding time.I can honestly say I've never see the anthias, firefishes and mandarin take a poop.

Re: LionFish's Journey to the Big Tank Club (Loads of pics)

dude My tank at feeding time is like a poop napalm bomb is going off
I think it is kinda like flairs on fighter jets One fish poops, the others chase the poop thinking it is food the pooper gets moor grub, so imagine 6 tangs all thinking the same thing? POOP FEST !

My tank is going to be a 180 torn because I want corals more than anything but Im also in love with large tangs and angels. Looking for the best of both worlds.

Re: LionFish's Journey to the Big Tank Club (Loads of pics)

wow, lionfish. great tank. It would look even better with a majestic angel in there! The tangs would probably beat it up though. I love tangs too, just keep in mind that angelfish are just prettier! (I have to give you crap, don't I?)

Keep up the good work. We should consolidate our fan clubs and charge extra dues, that way, we both can get paid and not have to compete for the POTM!

In an SPS dominated tank, you open yourself up to having more variety of angelfish. Most angels snack on zoas, and xenia in the soft coral realm, but have been known to nip at colt corals and yellow star polyps. LPS get munched the most as well as clams. About have the pomacanthus angels can be kept in an SPS dominated tank. If you got MH on a 180, put in a few LPS that you could live without (I would avoid super expensive ones to start with) in case they got eaten, and loaded it with SPS, you could have tangs and angels. Blue-faced, Emperor, Majestic, all have been successfully kept in SPS dominated tanks for years. Plan it well and you can do it
