new bulbs are installed. I'm so glad I went with the 20 k's. I'm seeing colors in the tank I never seen before. I plan on doing a water change in the morning. So I'll get some pics... I havnt ordered the of's yet. I don't know if I want the 460s or 420's actenics. Loving the 20 k color. Thinking the 420 would bring out the more purple side...

The difference that I have noticed between my 420 superactinics and 460s is huge. The 460s make an almost supernatural glow in the corals. ill get you some pics before you decide I can show you my tank in both 420 and 460. The 460s that I use are the coralife LEDs. They are a little more expensive to get into...at first(not if you dont the proper ballast for what you want to use.

What brand 20k did you get? Will you even need actinics? I was think of going the same way on the display and keep 12k on my frag. Can't wait for the pictures.
