I think that is just the markings on the fish Dont believe it is MHLLE.. those marks are on both sides of his face in the same spot... Iono i think it gives him character

Ryan not to go against that at all, but i did very extensive research on HLLE because of Jack. and Im 99% sure it does not go away. At least when its bad because you have physically lost not only skin but tissue below. it will always have a mark. just wont spread any further if it stops.

yeah there are a lot of things that are out there and there are so many contradicting things out there. But for the majority if what I have learned, The major damage does not go away. of course any deterioration of fins at all is able to grow back, but head and lateral line damage, no.
