Re: Chaos's First Salt 20g

O I was to excited about looking at the tank and forgot to say that i got a rock full of striped mushrooms last night from the lfs, i looked at that rock for about 20 mins and decided i wanted it, its got about 12 feather dusters on it, 10 mushrooms, and about 6 tiny brittle stars. I just went for snails, and yep i spent to much money again lol i need to ground myself from the fish store.

I've never had my calcium go that high.It is usually 460 to 480.
But I've my alkalinity as hig as 15DKH with no problems what so ever.

Unless you count scraping coralline off the front glass a problem.

Re: Chaos's First Salt 20g

Ok, picture time, i think The damn clowns love the camera so much their fat faces were in most of my pics of the mushrooms. I posted most of the pics I took to show the frequency at which the clowns were in my way "Hey fathead no pictures today" Thats what i believe them to say. Those tiny hair looking things sticking off the rock are the star fishies legs kinda weird lol. And for the feather dusters i dont know if you can see them on the pics unless i pointed them out, there is a purple towards the bottom left of the rock.

This first pic is of the non algae looking red things that are growing on the rock, the black spots are actually very dark red.

You weren't lying when you said the clowns like their picture taken. Mushrooms look good.

Re: Chaos's First Salt 20g

Ugg i hate algae its discouraging, and then not to mention my stupid self once again did not read enough and thought i found a good protein skimmer and got a dang seaclone that has a wonderful tendency to no matter how much you adjust blow its bubble load into the tank... ugg. I am going to see about returning the skimmer to the two doctors and buying a better skimmer as i dont want to deal with these bubbles if its new and i can send it back.
