Re: Doc's Shark Tank
Lookin good Doc! Thats not an over build if you've seen my DIY stand frame, LoL. I think my stand could hold up a 18 wheeler
I did do what Daugherty mentioned and put a piece of stained wood over the top to help even out the surface that the tank is sitting on. I didn't cut it to match the tank as i have a bowfront but rather cut it to overhang the stand an inch or so. I was peronoid when i built it and didn't want to put more stress on one corner than what there was suppose to be, not sure if it was necessary though.Current Aquarium(s) Description: 72 bow front Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 1 year Other Intrests: Fish, Cars, Computers, Camping |

Re: Doc's Shark Tank
I just went to home depot (again), and I think I have everything I need to finish the tank stand. Finally. Unless I screw up the cuts, in which case, I get to go back. I hate that place.
I should have it done by this afternoon and I will post pics when it looks decent (I hope). I am so not a DIY kind of guy.
