Re: Doc's Shark Tank

Dang you know how to make someone think they had to much to drink. Can't wait to see the tank once the water clears. Good luck with the new tank.

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

I have a few things to do today before I will get to my tank. This evening I will be able to putter around with the aquascaping and get a few pics worth posting.

Yote, I wanted you to feel better about yourself with the pics, so, I am glad it worked out for you

This morning, so far, everything looks alive and OK. I cannot find the lionfish, but the rocks are a mess and I cannot see into every nook and cranney. I just hope he is alive and well.

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

quick update...I went downstairs to check out the lionfish and he is.... just fine. He is actively checking out his new home.

I am grateful for the little things... like my tank not leaking out overnight (a real fear since that has happened to others before AND because this is a used tank) I am also grateful my stand did not crash to the floor from the weight of the tank (mostly cuz I am not a carpenter at all!) So, I am feeling pretty good about the tank today!

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

I'm betting the lionfish is just hanging out, enjoying the new layout.Probably found himself a nice lil nook to relax in.

Everything looks good. Moving tanks is such a nerve-wracking, time-consuming ordeal. I'm glad it went smoothly!

It is just nerves. I am not planning on a disaster but if something does go wrong, I don't really have anyone else to blame but myself.

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

How's everything looking clarity-wise? Can we expect more pics today?

And yes it sure is nerve racking moving tanks. If anyone knows that story its me. I have done it 2 times with the 180 and once with the 80 and all times it was moving across town not just from one tank to another in the same house. I'm pretty damn good at it now, but its still stressful. Glad to hear there are no leaks. That silicone job looked damn good so its not surprising. Also glad to hear the lionfish is good. Does squishy look happy in his new spacious home?
