Re: Doc's Shark Tank

the water is great. I cannot figure out why my lights won't turn on. One set of PCs got a bit wet during the change over but have been drying all night and today so i hope they are not FUBAR. I will figure it out when I re-do the rocks.

The water is crystal clear and the fish all seem happy. Squishy is currently pissed off because the rocks are all in disarray over the floor of the tank so he does not have any real room to move around. He is sitting in the really only open spot grumpy and frowning at me. I will alieviate his irritation in about 5 hours or so.

I will post tons of pics once I have the rocks how I want them and the lights working. Plan for this evening about 9 or so for them to be up and loaded on my thread. I am so excited to finally have a big tank. YESSSSS!!!

Squishy has a little bit of an overbite. Ever thought of renaming him Freddy Mercury and taking him to see an orthodontist?

Interesting thought. I have not gone there. His self esteem is a bit fragile since he has been gaining a bit of weight. I may hold off on orthodontics for a few weeks...

But start putting away money for it now... Braces are expensive. I can only imagine how much fish braces cost! You know me, always trying to help. I found a vet for you that does cat and dog braces -- maybe he'll be willing to expand his practice to sharks too?

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

BWAHAHAHAA that freddy mercury comment cracked my ass up! Man could you imagine the cost of shark braces.... Multiple rows of teeth! That would be SPENDY.

Doc I'm so happy for you and your new tank. And how excited you are to have a big tank. You totally deserve it.

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

I agree that I deserve it. Hell, I also think I deserve my own dive tank with black tipped reef sharks, but that will just have to wait. I am totally satisfied with this tank!

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

We are all totally satisfied with our tanks... For a week or two! Then we want more.

Re: Doc's Shark Tank

I agree that we all want bigger but I know that I just dont have room for a bigger one than this. The room would support one larger but my staircase will not!
