Re: Jelmers Reef

Looking Good. Only Comment Is Temperature Should Be 76 At The Low End. Try For A Stable 78 If You Can. My System Fluctuates From 76 To 80 Depending On If It Is Winter Or Summer. Not Each Day, Only About A 2 Degree Swing Per Day. Good Luck.

Re: Jelmers Reef

Well here i am again for a little update. Some things have changed in my tank and i got some new gadgets. First of all i got a new light set my old one was:

3 PL lamps both 36 watt in total 108 watt. The lamps where 2 Daylight 10.000K and one Actinic blue.

My new light system is:

One HQI lamp 150 watt, brand BLV, 14.000K en 2 T5 lamps of the brand Giesemann, one T5 is 24 watt, 22.000K in total 198 watt.

Well another new gadget is a Aqua Medic Niveaumat.
The Niveaumat will automatically refill the evaporated water in my aquarium. This system got a sensor so when the water niveau drops he refills it

Well not done yet i got a aquarium chiller now to. This is very handy for the hot summer days. The chiller is a Aqua Medic Titan 150.

Futher i got a phospat absorber, a new streamingpump total stream is 4600 liter per hour.

Well that were my new gadgets, now i got some new corals too:

1 Capnella sp.
1 Sarcophyton sp.
Verschillende Zoanthus sp. soorten
1 Pavona cactus
1 Tubipora musica
1 Ricordea yuma
1 Discosoma spp
1 (red) Acropora sp.
1 (yellow) Acropora sp.

Well i think thats all
