Thumbs up BallastWise.com

In my quest to find a DIY VHO ballast, I stumbled across www.ballastwise.com. I think I hit the jackpot as far as DIY ballasts. Yesterday I ordered an electronic VHO ballast which will run 2 6' 165w bulbs....for $49.99! This ballast is comparable to the IceCap 430 that costs $140. Today I got my FedEx tracking # and the ballast is already on it's way!
They have unreal prices on electronic MH ballasts too. $60 for a 175w electronic MH ballast, $80 for a 250w and $100 for a 400w is a steal.

Re: BallastWise.com

Not sure I follow you. They are electronic ballasts for MH bulbs. The only thing that makes a "reef bulb" is the color. I guess these would work just as good for growing pot or growing coral....lol.
