give me your suggestions!

beeguiles

they call me fish geek ;p
I'm going to set up a tiny 10g frag tank prlly tomorrow and start to cycle it. Fishless of course! How should I do that? I don't have a table shrimp laying around to throw in. Can I just put some fish food in there and let it dissolve? Or maybe some frozen krill? Idk if that will start the cycle. Anyways....after it cycles I'm thinking of adding just one fishie for poop nutrients(for the corals). What fish would be good in a ten gallon. I'm prlly eventually going to add live rock to this tank also so the fish feels more at home.

Anything that will rot essentially, your good with frozen food. I dont really know how much though, half a cube maybe??
As for fish, firefish? Oh actually i have always thought barnacle blennys were cool, especially if ya got barnacles.

Oh I forgot to add no jumping fish! This tank won't have a lid for right now. I will check out that blenny and thanks for the quick response guys!

I type barnacle blenny in Google and this picture pops up LOL. He looks so happy!

Hector's Goby, Yellow Stripe Clingfish, or one of those tanaka pygmy wrasses.

Sounds fun Brittany! I keep wanting to set up a smaller tank and keep it at a cooler temp so I can have a catalina goby. But, I doubt that would work with corals for ya. You'll come up with a fun fish, you always do.

That's okay, you didn't know. I did like that pygmy hawkfish but it jumps and I will have no lid for now. Idk I stop have a couple weeks to decide. I'm going to my lfs tomorrow to pick up more salt and live rock to put in the ten gallon. Only a few lbs to speed up the cycling process. I'm excited! Then in a couple weeks the cycle will hopefully be done and I will be able to order my light fixture! Then after that its mindys saving time to buy a bunch of new corals!

You need to practice your pimp slap. Don't take no crap from those sluts.
"Let us pray the Pimp's Prayer. Lord, please pray for the soul of this bitch and guide my pimp hand and make it strong, Lord, so that she might learn a ho's place. Amen."

p.s. don't forget to use an open hand :D then you can say they walked in to it if they call the cops....

Ah, now I feel bad for recommending them.

But but...yellow stripe clingfish...

Yellos stripe clingfish are also a very poor choice, they are extremely difficult to eat frozen foods (probably one of the hardest out there) and they also dont seem to do as well without their host long spine urchin. If you do a little bit of research on these guys you will see what i mean.

Yea they didn't appeal much to me anyways lol tank set up is being pushed till Friday. Boo! I need more salt to set it up and I can't get to the store till Friday. Sucky!
