While I was off at college the tank wasn't taken care of nearly as we'll as I would have hoped. I lost my clownfish and BTA in February I think. When I came home the first of May, my rics and zoas had also died but the torch was okay.

I'm going down to the drug store to look for some iodine for a dip. I do have some API Melafix, any thoughts on doing it in the tank? The torch is now the only thing left alive in the tank so there's no risk of hurting anything else

Now some of the heads of thick brown slime coming from them. Anything I can do?

I top off by pouring water into the tank daily. I don't have an auto top off system or anything, which I know would be a better ,ore stable way to do it. I don't have a clean up crew, as I haven't been able to keep them alive for more than a couple months.

I'll check for voltage, I never thought about that. I don't have a LFS to do a water test so I can't know how accurate my tests are. I just changed the t5 bulbs about 2 months ago

Yeah, the torch is what I'm worried about, it's gone from 2 heads to 11 and I'd hate to lose it. No swings in any parameters that I've seen lately

Okay. I thought it may just be size since she's been living with the nem for about a year now. Are torches pretty resilant to clowns? Or does it need protected?

What do BTAs need to grow bigger? I have a 25 gallon tank with a 4 bulb Nova Extreme on it. The reason I ask is that my torch coral is not bigger than the BTA and my clown is favoring it more. Needless to say the torch doesn't like that and is starting to retract a lot.

I've been buying jugs of distilled water for a while now and I've finally decided to get a RODI unit. I'm looking at this one, Filter Direct Online Store (C) It includes a 4 gallon tank and it is 100 GPD for $158. This is my first unit, so does this price sound reasonable for what is included?

I have a torch coral that had about 4 heads when I got it. It is not up to 10 heads and I was thinking about fragging a couple of them. Is there any risk to the rest of the polyps by fragging them? I've never fragged LPS and I'd hate to hurt the whole thing.
