Hey Nanna and Fireplug. I'm breaking down my tank so my mushrooms have to go soon. They aren't attached yet but if you two want to go ahead and buy them loose I will through in a few extra for free. So 10 mushrooms each for $20?
I'm not sure how much shipping will be. My zip is 75243
I had to get some shells for my small hermits and i picked up one just like that thinking none of them would want it but they all gathered around fighting over it. So i had to go back to the fish store and pick up some more like those.
The procedure went well :D I havent put a price tag on them yet. Going to see how well they open up first after they attach. I figured about $20-$25 a rock considering my lfs sells them for $35-$40 with only a few shrooms and all mine have at least 8 shrooms, some with the big guys
Here they...
Thanks :D
Yeah i read about the blender method but it just sounds mean. I feel bad just cutting them.
Speaking of cutting, Where should i cut them. Im just going to cut the whole polyp off and most of their stems are about 2" long so should i cut at the base near the rock of near the top...
It makes me sad to cut them because they are so pretty but im going to be trading my tank in for an 18 gallon 60-P ADA rimless tank later on.
Here they are. Wish I had a better camera than my phone to show their true color.
They are about 3/4 of the way open right now.
Any harmful chemicals?? Should i separate them in another tank or container?
Yeah i have 2 that are about 4-5" and maybe 35 or so that are around 1-2" and a bunch of babys in between.
I have a rock full of red mushrooms from Huge to small. I want to start trimming it and selling/trading them.
How do I go about doing this?
I've read that mushrooms are pretty easy to frag. Just snip and place
How do I pack and ship them?
Suggestions, advice?
Hey so I'm selling these Aquavitro products that I won in a raffle. They are all brand new except the 8.4 which I used two cap fulls to raise my ph. Which was before I was told it would adjust itself when my tank finished cycling.
I have 6 bottles I'm selling all for $30. They normally run...
Well since theres not too much in my tank right now i went ahead and fresh water dipped all my rocks and so far i dont see any flatworms. Hopefully that did the trick but ill keep an eye out and as soon as i see one ill use the Flatworm Exit to take them out. At least this way i've gotten ride...
Yeah its a Rist Brown flat worm. It says that they can grow to be a nuisance. It says that wrasse and dragonettes will eat them.
I plan on getting a tank raised mandarin dragonette. Do you think he will still eat them being "tank raised"
