So. I have collected everything I need for my tank. Except a pump and a heater. I have a 75 gal all glass aquarium. Drilled with one 1'' overflow hole and a .75'' return hole. I don't know how many gal the 1'' will flow. So I ask. What return pump should I get and how much flow will a 1'' pipe support?

I used this in the 500 on my 75.
Mag Drive Pumps
It did a great job, seemed to be the perfect flow through the sump.

Thank you. I just bought that one . And another question. Where does the heater go? In the sump or the tank? I would love to put it in the sump to keep it not visible.

Put it in the sump.
I actually got my heaters in the overflows. But the sump will work perfect.
