I have been in several arguments were people say conchs do not eat off or clean rocks, and they think I'm lying when I say mine do. Well guess what I now have proof. Before they would go over the rocks with their trunks but now I have a pic of one that crawled on the rocks.

Bobby,You got an eye wittness that they'll clean rocks. One of mine is always on the rock during the day,but will bury itself in the sand after lights out.

Mine will go in the sand for a few days then stay out for a week or two. I think they're fighting conchs. There are two in my 30 and they have been in there for a while with no problems, which brings me to another argument that you can only keep one alive in a 30 because of lack of food, but they seem to be doing fine.

Conches feed on algae when young but when they grow larger(a long time) they tend to be more of a scavenger.I have Queens and they never climb the rocks.
