CAPTIVE CARE - Do not feed floating foods (fish may ingest air at the surface), usually compatible with tankmates that are non aggressive, needs plenty of swimming room, frighten of sudden movements house in a low traffic area, can be kept in pairs, may release toxins when dying, any dying boxfish must be removed or prevent it from being harrased by tankmates.
