After two years, my crabs have decided to eat my hammer coral. At first I thought it was just the new emerald crab so I removed him and now there are at least 2 blue legged crabs on it at all times. I have managed to keep two large colonies of xenia isolated and catch the pieces that break off but today I noticed that one had attached in a crevice that I can not get to the bottom of it. Any ideas on killing it before it creates a disaster in my tank? I heard Aptasia X works but I don't see how.

Yes I have the "Reef" application downloaded and everything is put together right. I even used the A and B wavemaker which I now have shut off. I just couldn't get the settings right. It seems like so much work...just if someone would program it for me:)
