I have a 16 gallon and am using an Oceanic biocube protein skimmer and it produces alot of dirty brown water. I have to empty it probably 3 times a day. Is something wrong? or is that a good thing?

I just bought a Colt Coral and after acclimation I put in my tank and after about 30 mins it completely wilted. It looks really sad now. In the LFS it was big and very healthy. now small, shriveled, and laying down. Is it dying?

Will removing the HOB make the tank re-cycle because I would be removing the bacteria needed to remove ammonia and nitrite?

Every couple of weeks I do about 20% water change. Substrate is live sand and couple inches thick. Yeah my anemones aren't doing so well. Probably the nitrates like you said. I haven't changed or cleaned the carbon or floss ever. Can I just take it all out and not have anything in the HOB?

Does anyone know what is something good to put in aquarium water to help corals and anemones grow and keep their bright colors?

I'm pretty sure they are fish. They actually swim up and above the mushrooms sometimes.
