I am thinking of adding a filter sock to my sump, and trying to come up with an idea of how to incorporate one. There is a bunch of detritus in my sump that needs to be cleaned up. Show me some pictures of your DIY, or store bought set ups PLEASE!
Thanks!

They make an acrylic sock holder that you can hang on your sump.

I am interested in this also. I run a bare bottom sump with nothing in it except a skimmer. Spent an hour cleaning mine this weekend. curious on what everyone else does.

thanks.

I try to but my sump tank is on the ground. I was thinking of hooking up a pump to suck the crud out. I just have a powerhead in there now pushing it around to get picked up by the skimmer. I was going to try and make a filter sock holder, but that one from BRS is pretty cool.
