sucked up my mushroom!!!!

I accidently sucked up my mushroom tonight with my siphon. It went from 5 in in dia to about the size of a nickle. Ive heard mushrooms can be toxic. Its been about 2 hours since and still hasnt reopened, should i remove it or let it be? Thanks for any info

May opinion would be let it be. It should be fine.

i had a green richordea mushroom break loose and lost it during tank swap and seen it the other day in bottom of new tank i must of swept it up with sand during swap it got dumped into a bucket and than into another and survived.
And reattached to a old shell in tank.

just leave it be. there have been reports of mushrooms getting puraid and starting new animals all over the tank. just sit tight and give it some time to recover. make sure it is in the place you had it if it was doing well. keep us posted.

leave it be. there tough, and if it was damaged it will probly just start reproducing. its hard to kill a mushroom.
