My cleaner shrimp decided to molt today while hanging on to his favorite rock. The shell stuck there and I figured I'd get a pic before it fell or the snails got a hold of it.

It's like Shrimp vs. Phantom Shrimp.

I thought it was neat, anyway....

haha, that's cool.
Mine must molt at least once a month. It's crazy!
And the first couple times i thought he was dead until i realized what it was and saw him hiding behind a rock.

Cool pic Solarfall.
Mine usually hide out when molting and not out in the open. He must feel very safe in there.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, he is very safe in there, he's the only thing in there that can move by itself besides a bunch of snails :P Unless you count the scallop, but that thing only moves every few days after it decimates a colony of pods in one area of the tank.
