adding refugium?

Im trying to figure out all the ways to keep my water quality as good as can. I have a sump with live rock and a protein skimmer. I don't think I have any room for micro algea, so I was thinking about adding a refugium. Is that a good idea? What about an algea scrubber also?

the algae scrubber will out compete the macro algae for nutrients, so i would pick one or the other. It would be easier to toss some cheato in the same place you have the live rock and put a small bulb over it. But algae scrubber are very awesome.

+1 lil fish...it'll be easier to just throw some cheato in there with the rocks.
