So I put this shell in not thinking anyone would use it...well my scarlet leg hermit but like it bc he sportin it right on the top of my tallest rock. Hes gonna build some muscle pulling that thing around lol. This cracks me up.

Lol yea but I don't think painted ones are safe. I should go find some cooler ones though. I have like five more of the long white one he's got on. I have one that are kinda shaped like a pyramid but they don't seem to like those ones yet.

thats cool, ive seen normal hermit shells that they have painted and coated at oet shops. I dont know if they are good, but you could see how they are done i guess?

I had to get some shells for my small hermits and i picked up one just like that thinking none of them would want it but they all gathered around fighting over it. So i had to go back to the fish store and pick up some more like those.

I got five or six of them in a little bag of mixed shells from walmart for like two bucks. Great deal. All different sizes too.
