they call me fish geek ;p
The last few nights I've been coming home from work I've noticed there is a groove in the sandbed. Like somebody dug it out. Well I found the culprit. My Orange clownfish. My question is why is he doing this? He seems to get rather excited with the female come close to it and he starts wiggling around more aggressively making the sand fly around. And should I move my gorgonian bc it was staying open almost eveyday and now it keeps opening and closing I think bc it doesn't like getting sand spewed into its polyps. Here's a couple vids? What do you think, are they gonna get it on?

My maroon does that too. No mate. Have a orange, but they dont hang out. My maroon made a pile of sand and he is all the way to the glass of the tank. He uses his tail to dig and the bigger pieces he moves with his mouth.

It seems mine only does it if the female is near. Is he trying to impress her like "ooh look what I made for you!" That's what it seems like he's doing. He takes mouthfuks of the fine sand and spits it out when he gets really excited. Lol
