Do Porcelain Anemone Crab require an anemone?

The store has them and they look really cool. All white and stuff. Websites as I researched only mentioned them sharing anemones and stuff. So I asked the guy and he said they're filter feeders too and supplement the anemone but don't require it.

I didn't buy it but I was thinking for later...but I wanted to check what he said. Anyone have any experience keeping them?

It does not appear that an anemone is required, but it would probably benefit from a 'nem or a soft coral of some sort to hang out in

So new question....

I bought one and he seems to be doing well....he moves round the rocks, mostly in view of the front, and just kind of waves his arms and stuff.
I've read they are filter feeders and can feed off things suspended in the water column.

Does he also eat algae? Because I haven't seen that. If not, do I need to supplement zooplankton for him to eat?

He might also pick stuff like algae off the rocks, but you dont need to supplement zooplankton. He might also like a piece of meaty food every now and then, just some of whatever you feed the fish
