Fish Trap

Im trying to catch a grouper that is too big and aggresive for my tank. I cant catch him in the net, too fast and Im trying to build the trap out of the soda bottle, is duct tape aquarium safe if not what are some house hold adhesives that i can use:sfish:

Duct tape should be fine. I had duct tape in my overflows of my 240 for years.

I use duct tape on my three trough overflows for a tighter hose fit.

Super glue gel is also safe to use in your tank.

Is any kind of super glue ok to use inside the aquarium? or does it have to be the kind they sell at my lfs?

No, any kind of super glue as long as it's gel. Regular super glue is too runny. I think the Loctite super glue gel is the best brand I've found so far.

so would it be ok to put some on a frag of a plate coral i have and then stick it on a rock thats under the water?

Yeah. Superglue will work underwater. It won't work immediately, but it will work if you use a lot of it.
