How to move to a larger tank

So Im contemplating moving from a 46 bowfront to a 75gallon. What would I need to do? could I reuse the sand? Im pretty sure I could reuse the rock. would it start a new cycle? whats the best course of action? I dont have anything yet just starting to plan. thanks for the input

I like to use new sand or at the very least rinse the used sand very well. A lot of nasties can be trapped in the old sand. Using your existing rock and water will really help in not starting a cycle. If you do experience one it will be very minimal. I have done this many times without any issues even when I had to add more dry rock for the bigger tank.
