little white bugs

i came home from work today and when i looked at my tank i thought i had a bunch of sand stuck to my glass. when i when to go clean it off i noticed that it was not sand but hundreds of tiny little white bugs on the glass. what are these and are they good or bad.

Sounds like copepods. Google them and see if they are what you have. If so they are good.

Could be baby snails, I have them all over my glass and after two days they have grown quite a bit.
